The local farm cafe at Round Chimneys Farm is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the stunning Dorset countryside. Why not work up an appetite from the Old Post Office holiday cottage in Glanvilles Wootton with a stroll up the country lanes, or a good stomp across the fields to simply sit back and take in the surroundings with a coffee or milkshake. Rachel and Mac provide a warm greeting and their freshly baked cakes are simply sumptuous. If you're feeling peckish, they have select menu of hold and cold bites. The bacon, brie and caramelised onion toasties are our fave.
Order local field to fork meat for your stay
They stock a range of the finest Aberdeen Angus beef and grass fed lamb, all reared right there on the farm. The Rich family look after their animals to the highest of welfare standards and with hardly any food miles and complete traceability, their produce tastes all the better for it.
All of the meat is sold from frozen. It hits the freezer shortly after butchery. Not only does this lock in all the flavour and nutritional value in the most natural way possible, it also reduces the potential food waste you get with the shorter shelf life of fresh produce.

Pop up nights, lambing live and music events
Round Chimneys Farm host a variety of events throughout the year. Take a look at their facebook page for announcements. For example, every December their lambing shed is open for 'lambing live!' Join in for a walk around the barn, seeing expectant ewes and newborn lambs and have a chat to the Rich family about how they look after them all.
On the 13th July 2024, the legendary Ben Waters will be performing live on the arm. Known for his energetic performances and powerful renditions of Boogie-Woogie & Rock n’ Roll, Ben is an artist not to be missed. He’ll be joined by @davidgraham_eskimobrothers all the way from Nashville on what promises to be a fantastic night of live music at Round Chimneys Farm.
